# Bakemoji

> Bakemoji, a little ink yōkai, quietly swaps some words of your book for Japanese. The story stays readable, new words meet you in context again and again — and one day you notice you know them. Bakemoji is a mobile app (Android and iPhone) for learning Japanese by reading books in your own language: it weaves Japanese words of your level (kana, JLPT N5–N1, BJT business Japanese) into any EPUB/FB2 book or a free public-domain classic, explains every word and kanji on tap with audio and stroke order, and checks you with a short exam after each chapter.
